About me

Hi! I am an artist and photographer based out of the LA area, with strong ties to the midwest and Japan.

When I’m not painting or taking photos, you can find me at my day job software engineering, exploring nature and coffee shops with my partner, or playing with our rambunctious cats.

Art

I often paint things I find beautiful or funny, whether in plein air or imagined illustrations. Sometimes though, I use painting to face difficult emotions.

Ink, watercolor, and gouache / poster color are my main squeeze, but sometimes I use linocut or other media too!

Photos

I mostly take landscape photography of the places I go. Now and then abstract or street photography sneak in, and the person you’re mostly likely to see in them is my muse, Yuki.

I don’t do much / any editing because I’m lazy.
